A dozen campgrounds and trails sit within 15 minutes of the lodge. The Wild & Scenic Kern River runs right through it all.
The Whiskey Flat Trail
Hike 16 miles from Kernville and end up at our back door. An ice-cold drink and a hot meal are waiting.
Trail of 100 Giants
Just 30 minutes from the lodge, a one-mile loop through Long Meadow Grove puts you under more than 100 giant sequoias.
